Join us for a lunch dialogue on October 28 to hear from Mr. Cheung Chi Kong, Executive Director of the One Country Two Systems Research Institute, who will introduce the results of his recent survey on Hong Kong people's opinions on key issues affecting Hong Kong. Mr. Ronnie C. Chan, Chairman of Asia Society Hong Kong Center, will moderate this dialogue.

Mr. CheungChi Kong, GBS, JP obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences and Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is currently the Executive Director of the One Country Two Systems Research Institute, Director of the Hong Kong Development Forum, the Belt and Road Hong Kong Centre, and the Bay Area Hong Kong Centre. He is also a member of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Deputy Secretary of the Hong Kong Coalition, and Council Member of the Chinese Association of Hong Kong and Macao Studies. Mr. Cheung was a Non-official Member of the Executive Council of the Fourth Term Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, a Member of the Commission on Strategic Development, a Member of the Independent Commission Against Corruption Complaints Committee, and a Member of the University Grants Committee. He was awarded a Bronze Bauhinia Star in 2011 and appointed as a Justice of the Peace in 2014. In 2017, he was awarded a Gold Bauhinia Star.
Ronnie C. Chan is the Chair of Hang Lung Group Limited and its subsidiary Hang Lung Properties Limited, both publicly listed in Hong Kong. The Group expanded into mainland China in 1992, developing, owning, and managing world-class commercial complexes in key tier-one and tier-two cities. He founded and chairs the China Heritage Fund, is a co-founding Director of The Forbidden City Cultural Heritage Conservation Foundation in Beijing, and is a former Vice President and former Advisor of the China Development Research Foundation in Beijing. Mr. Chan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Chair Emeritus of the Asia Society and Chairman of its Hong Kong Center, and Co-Founder and Chairman of the Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society. He serves or has served on the governing or advisory bodies of several think tanks and universities, which include: Peterson Institute for International Economics, World Economic Forum, East-West Center, Pacific Council on International Policy, Eisenhower Fellowships, The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation, University of Southern California, Indian School of Business, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Yale University, Tsinghua University, and Fudan University.
