Minhwa, which refers to Korean folk painting, is a traditional folk art from the Joseon era. It is usually produced by itinerant or unknown artists for daily use under the theme of the daily life of the ordinary people.

Minhwa is a storyteller. By watching Minhwa, we can not only read the story of an artist, but also story of a family, a society, and a country. Every element, every genre is acting as a hint, telling us what kind of story the picture is going to tell. Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong is honored to invite Ms. Young Ae Lee from <Art Minhwa> to be the speaker of the talk. She will be the 'interpreter' of Minhwa, interpreting the story behind Minhwa.
