Asia Society Hong Kong Center is pleased to present a fireside chat between Dennis Wilder, senior fellow with the Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues at Georgetown University, and Kristie Lu Stout, award-winning anchor and correspondent for CNN.
Over three decades serving in the US Government, Mr. Wilder became a leading expert in US-China diplomatic and strategic relations. As Sino-US competition intensifies, Mr. Wilder considers what officials on both sides can do to ratchet down tensions and successfully manage the most important bilateral relationship in the world. How can these two governments find common ground to address global challenges of common concern? What can officials do to build trust and reduce suspicion as national security priorities increasingly take precedence over economic ties? Join Asia Society Hong Kong Center to hear Mr. Wilder and Ms. Lu Stout discuss these issues and more.
