Event Details

Aspiring actor Marcel Mangel would rather perform in Strasbourg's cabaret clubs than chop meat like his father. However, when his cousin persuades him to help care for a group of rescued German orphans, his path changes. Marcel Mangel becomes Marcel Marceau as he joins the French Resistance and works with Boy Scouts to save the lives of hundreds of children. Starring Jesse Eisenberg and Clémence Poésy, Resistance tells an incredibly inspiring story of courage – and the ability to laugh even amidst the unimaginable horrors of Nazi-occupied France.
