To celebrate the Art Basel art fair, Asia Society Hong Kong Center, in partnership with the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, is pleased to invite you to a program on "Digital Art: Forging the Future with Disruptive Technology and Ideas", co-organized by the Swiss Finance + Technology Association.

The 'phygital' era – an interlinking of the physical and digital worlds - has become a part of our daily life, and preserving digital property rights is becoming crucial to our future. The past few years have seen the rise of digital assets, NFTs, and the metaverse, as well as the continuing adoption of blockchain technology and smart contracts. Both Switzerland and Hong Kong are highly competitive locations to support the adoption of these disruptive technologies. What will 2023 and the coming years bring?

This program explores the convergence of art, technology, and law, requiring you to "Think out of The Block", addressing questions such as:

"Do artistic ideas or technological availabilities come first?"

"How can artists make breakthroughs in using technologies for artistic creation?"

"What makes Switzerland an attractive location for overseas blockchain networks?"

"Is there room for collaboration on Web3 projects between Switzerland and Hong Kong?"

"What does the 'phygital' generation look like?"

"Will 2023 see more adaptions or restrictions in digital assets?"
