On the occasion of its official selection at the Cannes Film Festival, in the context of the Paris 2024 sports events, Fondation de France Asia is organising on 19 June 2024 an exceptional evening celebrating sport as a solution to social, racial, gender or social inequalities, with a screening of David Blough's film "XXI – A Sport named solutions".

Co-organised with the Consulate General of France as part of "the Night of Ideas" (La Nuit des Idées), the event will also be an opportunity to share examples of integration through sport in Hong Kong, with a discussion between the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation and its beneficiaries.

Inspired by the essay 'A sport named solutions' by David Blough, the film 'XXI - A sport named solutions' is an unprecedented immersion into emblematic initiatives in the field of sport and social impact. Through inspiring testimonials from beneficiaries, former sportsmen and women, educators and voluntary workers, we discover how these initiatives are opening up the field of possibilities when it comes to the place of sport in tomorrow's world. Through the inspiring testimonies of beneficiaries, former athletes, educators and community workers, we discover how these initiatives are opening up the field of possibilities when it comes to the place of sport in tomorrow's world.
